This exclusive luxury line is now available in the Adidas outlet, Imago Mall!

Offering a modern fusion of sport and style,
through bright colors, fresh prints and performance 'pop'.

Adidas StellaSport collection is by Stella McCartney
which includes apparel, footwear and accessories.

Designed for the young and active, Adidas StellaSport brings you ClimaWarm - the material that keeps your muscles warm during and after your workout.

The season highlights on an unapologetic bold leopard print theme.

Go wild with the matching jacket, tights, pants and sport tank in Echo Pink Carbon and White - for a look that is as fearless as you are.

Offset your outfit with the reflective Hoody in Echo Pink and Solar Yellow
or opt for the ultimate all-over leopard Print Gym Bag in Bold Blue and Solar Pink.

Ensure striking style and support in the studio
with sleek performance silhouettes at all times.

Craft a workout outfit that really 'pops'
with the eclectic multi logo graphic tank and tights.

Definitely for the young and active!
I was there to check out the new collection and I loved it!
The colors and prints were brilliant! I personally always thought workout outfits were always so plain and boring, but this collection is really something different.

I think it was great that they had the ClimaWarm materials used for their outfits to avoid muscle cramps and colds after sweating. So, no more worries about the sudden changes in temperature that causes muscle cramps! YAY!

The pops of colour and very fun design changed my mind about sports attire being boring.
I honestly want the bright blue gym bag!

Retro Fashion is COMING BACK!

Remember the times when we flip through old family albums
and laughed so hard at the retro clothing our parents and grandparents used to wear?

I sure did.

During the holidays, I would be surrounded by siblings and cousins as we tried our best to stifle our hysterical laughter at seeing our elders wearing outlandish outfits and donning bombastic wigs with exaggerated eye make-up.

I remember most of us saying things like,
"Ahyo! What were they thinking?!"
"I'd rather die than be caught wearing that!"

We all thought that those looks will never come back in style,
 but we sure were wrong.

Retro fashion is now climbing up strong
and women are the ones most enthusiastic about it.

I guess, I have to apologize to my elders for laughing at them years ago
(I'm sorry, i will still giggle if i see them)
and start asking for some of their classic clothes from now on!

So what are the retro trends which are bound to hit 2015?
Take note, ladies!

1.    Peplums

Peplums has been hitting the fashion scene these couple of years and it doesn't look like it is going anywhere anytime soon. Peplums are adored by many women as the design gives a nice silhouette look of their body figure.

 It accentuates the waist curves,
giving you the appearance of a tiny waist (YAY!)
and that much needed booty lift that most women crave!

Think of Beyonce's body shape, you can get that with a short peplum dress.

Want to wear peplum dress for a glamorous dinner? Try a long peplum dress.
Look beautiful effortlessly while staying in trend.

2.    High waist pants

The high waist pants were very popular in the 60's and 70's but dropped down due to the existences of hip hop baggy jeans <--- and="" b="" eminem.="" hammer="" mc="" rapper="" singer="" thanks="" to="">

However, the high waist design pants are climbing its way back up and women love it all together.

Modern women nowadays can work the high waist pants everywhere they go
with confidence.

Think about it, what is there not to like about this wardrobe staple?
Its super comfortable, makes your waist look so much smaller and defined, and elongates your legs!

Whether to the office, a date or even a casual day out to town, high waist pants can definitely give you that easy going feel.

3.    Shift dress

Shift dresses are coming back in style with beautiful modern designs for women to flaunt everywhere they go. It may not have that body hugging element to show off your curves but it surely hide the areas you are insecure of. Maybe you feel bloated after a sumptuous lunch or you feel guilty for skipping a couple of gym sessions, throw on a shift dress for that vintage yet sophisticated touch which women may find very interesting and comfortable.

Style it dinners, a day out with friends or a walk at the park looking gorgeous as ever. I personally love and own several shift dresses, I learnt the hard way that choosing a size too big is disastrous. So, my advice is to choose a shift dress that isn't way too big and dressing it up with simple accessories like a delicate necklace, a simple belt or some bracelets.

Choose from the colour block patterns or prints and work any of these outfits with confidence. Interested ladies who want to grab the new retro fashion clothing for women, have a look at ZALORA and shop online.

Chivas Regal - Aged 18 Years by Christian Lacroix

A particularly popular choice of liquor for most clubbers in Kota Kinabalu -
 Chivas Regal
recently premiered its exclusive Chivas 18 Year Old
decorated by fashion designer Christian Lacroix.

With an exclusive party held at the BED, Waterfront
to commemorate its exclusive partnership with the iconic fashion designer,
fellow bloggers Rungitom, Beverly and I were invited!

Imagine the mad excitement we felt opening up the invitation! Teehee!

embossed logo on the envelope!

Cyrus gave up on his reading to take some pics of the card too!

taking off the ribbon!

teeth chattering in absolute excitement...

pretty but i was expecting something more. but o wells :) WE'RE INVITED!

The entrance to the party at the BED, Waterfront!
Looks A-MAY-Zing!

So, this is how it goes...
Chivas Regal invited six prominent Malaysian designers
to create their own signature collections
inspired by Chivas Regal and Christian Lacroix
that will be showcased during the party.

Beatrice Looi, Ian Chang, Joe Chia, Jovian Mandagie,
Lee Khoon Hooi and Michael Ong
– each showed off a haute couture collection
featuring three distinct pieces along with a signature bottle sleeve
during the launch of Chivas Regal 18 year old limited edition.

The fashion show was based on the Chivas Regal's
brand heritage, colours, materials and texture
and paraded by 18 local models,
and 7 inspired fashionably unique bottle sleeve designs
were also displayed during the event.

i think this is bloody cute!

very gaga-ish.

The host of the night?
Hitz.fm KK 's very own DJ Cassie!
was definitely looking fab in a fiery red bodycon mini dress!

weird how SWEET looking models were there. no party girl vibe :/

I was really excited about the fashion show until...
"Is it just me or i feel these looks are really odd!?"

Now, this just makes me feel like i'm not a girl cuz
I particularly didnt like this fashion show at all.

BUT! one girl's trash could be another girl's treasure?
I'm definitely hoping its just my taste in simplicity and classics.
Haute Couture might not be my thing :)

I definitely have to thank those who were there with me,
thoroughly enjoyed the night with good friends and Chivas Regal drinks!

Cyrus and I with our funny faces

Y U NO -?! inspired
bumped into some friends - good times!

Many thanks to www.borneocolours.com
and Rungitom for the amazing time and opportunity!

It was definitely something different and another wonderful memory made.

Cheers, people!
