That guy is ....YOU?

I've heard it all before.
Women complaining about their men.
"My man doesnt warn me before he farts!"
"We dont get enough private time together!"
"I think I'm dating an immature little mama's boy."
"Men DO NOT know how to communicate their feelings la..."
"Why cant he be like Enrique Iglesias?!"
"The dude is all talk, no action!"
"The guy cant commit. Chicken shyt."

I can go on for hours.
And reveal MORE of what goes on
in a women's durrrrrty little discussion sessions
about our male partners.
But like the men, women have their own 'Bro Code'
Its called ... Sisterhood!
Or it could be called Girl Power, or Females Unite...
Or it might be the Bitch Club.
Honestly I dont know. *facepalm*
epic fail.

ANYWAY~!
Just a short list of the most common complains i've heard about the males.
If you're a girl, maybe you can add on to the list by commenting.
If you're a guy, maybe you might identify yourself with one of the following,
and hopefully you can make some changes to make your girl happy. ;)

1. The Insanely Possessive

PUH-lease la... stop smothering your girl.
constantly texting or calling us to ask
"where are you? what u doing? who you with right now?"
is such a turn off. bloody annoying..

u should learn to trust her, and if you dont,
remind me, why are you still dating her?

2. Temper Temper

maybe i hang out with girls that just will not accept
having to live their life trying to walk on eggshells
or navigate through a bloody bombmine.
He loses his temper real quick and yells the entire house down, or
decideds to try angering you as well to have a screaming match.
keep your temper in check or
go invest in a real punching bag to vent
your stress on!

3. Too Self-Obsessed and Very Vain

i personally had a boyfriend like this,
and omg... the pain of waiting for him to dress up!
He would take nearly a hour to make sure he's hair is done right,
matching belt buckles, shoes gotta match shirt, ...etc
worst part of dating this kind of guy is,
all he talks about is about how great he is,
what a stud he was in back then,
the gurls he's got then and now...

Oi~! i'm not gonna date another woman!
One woman in this relationship is enough!

4. Mr Please-Grow-Up

At some point it’s time to grow up la, guys...
Ditch the rude statement T-shirts, rockstar hair and gaming addiction!
Seriously, we just want you to dress and act maturely.
Too much to ask?

Spend QUALITY time with us.
You dont have to take us out on expensive dates, exotic getaways or
take your entire saving account to buy us that diamond ring!
(although we wouldn't mind that, of course)

Take us for a drive and make it a mission
to find out what we think about a certain topic, how was our day,
whats our favourite lingerie brand, make future plans together
or make us laugh like you used to when you were still wooing us.

Well, there is always time and a place to be childlike and have good fun,
but we girls naturally love a mature man with some sense of direction in life.
p/s : GAMING IS NOT A CAREER!

5. "LOOK At Those Boobies and that Arse!"

You may think you are being sneaky, or think girls are blind
but we caught you glancing at the hot chick as she passed by.
 Dont you dare deny it!

We know that men are visual creatures,
but it is really hurtful if we are out with you
and you can’t stop staring at that lady's amazing D-cup boobies,
or that Almost-JLo-Arse chick at the mall.
In my opinion, the worst of all is,
we catch you staring at your ex-girlfriend.
The level of hurt for this one is...
like you got your heart stepped on by an elephant.
An obese elephant.

This just TRULY bothers us and it can even ruin the entire evening.
Want us to check out other men's six packs or their package?
Did i hear a 'no'?

Refer back to Number 4 and learn to act more maturely.

6. Men are just "all talk"

Probably the biggest complaint from the females about men.
Most common example
Man : "I'll call you in a while."
Woman: "Okay."
 *waits for an entire day*
Don't woo us and tell us that you're truly ready for commitment,
then decide to freak out at the last minute.
 An even better example is
telling a woman you are ready for a relationship,
but your actions completely prove otherwise.
Why bother getting yourself in this relationship if
all you want to do after work is sit in front of the tv/computer?
And it takes you half an hour to reply us on your handphone
when we replied you almost immediately after you texted us first!

You are not Barney Stintson.
While its cool if you are almost-like him,
showering us with compliments, sweet words and gifts are acceptable
but please don't waste our time and energy by declaring your undying love.
We might do something crazy, like... believe you.

Be genuine with yourself and with us,
we would appreciate it so much and respect you a lot more.

7. Mommee's Lil Boy

I don't know how to start. Wait.
Are you going to run to mommy right after you read this?
I'm dating Y-O-U.
Not your mom, just you.
So please understand when we just feel turned off when
you invite your mom to join in on our movie date.
You wont like watching a movie with our dad seated beside you.

 8. Stone Cold

We know you would like us to think
you are such a gentleman,
always wanting to make us happy
and letting us make 'important' decision for the both of us.
"Anywhere is fine. I eat anything. I'm fine with everything.
The more the merrier, you call them la. You make the plans, I'll be there"

It just makes us think guys are no fun, uptight, dull,
takes no initiative to plan any dates, or
who never have any ideas about where to go for dinner, vacations or activities.
If you are like this,
it’s time to wake up and find your passion.
Put a little energy into the relationship.
We think this is boring and yes, it stresses us out too!

Local Sex Club? WHAT?!

so the craze of
the Obedient Wife Club
has begun!

Read these articles first to know what i'll be blabbing later on. :)

Thumbs Up from these peeps!

Thumbs Down from these guys!

to be completely honest,
i think this is just another 'project' that will not survive.
it will not last longer than a year, if lucky.
and even if it did miraculously survive,
it'll still be a joke.

I quote my bestie :
"In less than 48hours Malaysia has been in international news
including Forbes, Reuters, n has had 361 press articles worldwide
published regarding this. What a shame."

It's obviously also gone viral online,
it's on almost everyone's facebook status, comments and twitter.
You'd expect it to be something to be proud of
but alas, i wish something from Malaysia is worth such fame.
maybe, we should nickname it?
you know, to be optimistic and give this club a chance?

as i close my eyes to think...
ohgawd i'm so sorry.

i can only come up with :
JOIN THE LOCAL SEX CLUB!
We're approved by the government,
and..... free sex lessons for our members!
Results guaranteed!
if not, join our first class brothel!

okay, i'll be more serious now.

my opinion :
i think the club was formed with the right intentions.
BUT! the way they presented it
and what the founder Ms Maznah Taufik
and a well experienced doctor, Dr Rohaya Mohamad said
during the launch and the press conference wasn't right or,
agreeable to the mass majority.

It is only logical
that it would not be welcomed with open arms if
you blame women for social ills!
HELLO?

Do you blame your mother after you were caught cheating in an exam?
Or do you blame your sister that you got yelling from daddy?
Or blame your wife that you lost your job?

I believe both sides are to blame.
Sex is effing important in the marriage,
but it's not used to solve unfaithful men.

saying that men tend to visit prostitutes
due to the wives not being able to satisfy them,
i think that's bullshyt.

i think in a few more weeks,
we'll be seeing politicians or high profile men
that are caught with prostitutes screaming on TV or radio
"My wife cant satisfy me enough!"
and the women suddenly gets into deep shyt,
rather than the men.

what i'm trying to say is,
Oi MALES! BE A MAN!
Don't let women take the blame for something YOU started.
start learning what is restraint, discipline and loyalty.

If you're not married,
it's never too late to start now.

If you're married,
you have no choice but to zip up NAO!

another thing is,
why not a Loyal Husband Club too?
then it might be fair. Or join these two clubs and become
Satisfied Couples Club?
i'm just saying, but doesn't it make more sense?

why not just go with the conventional Marriage/Couples counseling?
Too much time and money la the President and Vice President.
Obviously took advantage of their connections to the high and mighty,
but couldn't produce something that was of worth.
Deemed classless and narrow-minded by many.
Worst i've seen so far was sexist and degrading.

Can't wait to see what they'll say next.
There was an Anti-OWC facebook page that disappeared.
hmmm... makes u wonder, no?

See what these female bloggers
have to say about the Obedient Wives Club of Malaysia!

Are you the ultimate Facebook devotee? - F2F Facebook Party 2011

if you're in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah... then u've definitely heard about the
Face2Face Party @ One Borneo Hypermall on the 14th of May (Sat).
It was all over Facebook and Hitz.fm, so don't bluff!

unless you were giving birth to your first born baby
or your irritating younger sibling stole your car,
there was really not much excuse to have missed this party! :D

i went absolutely BALLISTIC when i read Dinoza's email on my Blackberry,
confirming that i got a ViP ticket to the F2F Party.
I was grinning madly as though Chris Hemsworth asked me out on a date! *swoons*
yes, the hottie from Thor! Lick-worthy shid be his nickname! lol <3

i was going through my wardrobe when i thought,
"Heck! why do i have to dress like i'm goin clubbing?
it's a party!"
So i decided to take a risk, not many have seen me in a pink floral dress so i'll do just that! I'm a rebel by nature, i guess. i decided to go all natural with my make-up and try out the already fast-becoming a favourite staple foundation for women and myself - Revlon's PhotoReady foundation.

My Product Review, read more about it here : [Click]

i have a bad habit. i admit i tend to go abit off track sumtimes. lol!
BACK to the Event!

got there at 9.15pm,
far too early if i ever went clubbing but, i'm here to cover this amazing event,
much thanks to Face2Face!

upon arrival, with my ViP tix!

the beautifully decorated IceBar @ OneBorneo

apparently, they took the effort to decorate the usually barren iceroom, it's a nice change i must say :)
had a lil fun taking some pictures while i was there abit too far early.
a gurl just can't help herself.

Equalize singing hit songs from Paramore and Bon Jovi!
Equalize performing.
as much as i love to support our local bands, it's just not me to lie. this band has been getting alot of buzz but i dunno if they really delivered. the crowd wasn't extremely pumped by their performances. i waited through 3 songs, and yet the crowd seemed to have slowly lost interest!  :O

but thank God for JoJo Struys!
who hails from Singapore with her amazing tap dancing skills! the crowd went wild! absolutely blown away with her skill m no one was doubting that she is in fact one of the region's (or the world's) top tap dancers! She sportingly lures two volunteers with a bucket of beer to tap dance with her on stage! haha! Not only is she a brilliant tap dancer, model, and tv personality, she is also an avid animal lover! what an angel :)

video of JoJo tap dancing by Sapphire -  [click here]
still looks sexy after performing! *jealous*

JoJo : "do a Diva pose! "  me: "ohdamnit i dunno how!"

a beautiful sweetheart- JoJo Struys
International DJs from all over the world as well as our own Malaysian DJs joined forced to keep the party people continually pumped up and dancing. I saw a sea of happy people enjoying the groovy beats in the indoor arena. Something really sexy about a guy who knows how to move the crowd with his turntables *frisky face*
DJ Dean at the indoor decks

Blastique feat Ushera - Kuala Lumpur
One Buck Short performing! :D

Headmasta - #1 dance DJ from KL

and OMG! the gorgeous Che'Nelle! Just in case your memory needs to be refreshed,
Che'Nelle is the superstar who sang "I fell in love with the DJ" - watch the music video here.  After taking this picture with her, she looked my my camera and said : " S95 ? really good camera. "  i had stars in my eyes!
our very own superstar Che'nelle

some of the very happy and sporting people in the crowds! cheers! thanks for the drinks!
i had to walk really far to the back of the crowd to take this pic! *looks at pretty heels*

meeting frens unexpectedly are the best! :')
this band of four did us Sabahans proud by doing their best and showed some of the foreigners that the local talents can do it just as good! i'm hoping to hear more of them really soon! maybe a concert or two! G'Luck Ang, Jun, Sydney and Poi!
A Sky Collapse Triangle, Kota Kinabalu's superstars in the making!
u gotta be here to believe it when people say Sabahans are like the MOST friendliest people in the whole country. I just smiled, talked abit and we're all friends. This bunch were a really happy and enthusiastic lot! :) see u guys soon! all the best!
Happy bloggers of the night! from Left : Sakuya , Joanna, me and Edgar
OH! a special shout out to Sapphire! Her great personality and infectious bubbly-ness is truly a gift in breaking the ice and in my opinion, she really made alot of people comfortable with her and each other, soon u can see everyone was having alot of fun! Check out her blog at www.sorbesque.com
can you tell i'm absolutely in love with her artwork!
This is Jackie Miao (yesh, her name is super unique!) is one of the writers of KKmoi.com  (an online local guide) and the host of Twitterfest! She blew me away and i have the utmost respect of what she has accomplished! An amazing woman and someone who definitely inspires me to do better!

i love DJs, i swear there's sumthing oh-so-tempting about them! maybe it was their accents, or they hv BlackBerries like me! hehehe! it's just an awesome professional phone! *bite that Apple-Lovers*
Last, but definitely not least, much love and thanks to Dinoza who gave me the ViP tix to the event! He's sucha sweetie! Many thanks to face2face and the Sabah Bloggers! Twas an unforgettable night!
the suave and sophisticated Dinoza.

In my opinion, it was definitely a party that united many Sabahan Bloggers/Facebookers/Photobugs which made me feel this is what parties should really be! Two thumbs up for all those who made this event come together, and of course, the super sporting crowd that showed up and joined the party!

Good music, beer, and new friends = laughter, happy pictures and bliss.

hey peeps! :) sorry for the lack of updates.
On top of my existing day job, i've been offered a new job that i CANNOT refuse!
It's an evening tutoring job with an established institution! And the pay is oh-so-good!
Imagine working only four days a week, for only an hour and a half each day,
and get a paycheck that is just... jaw-dropping!
*insert ecstatic smile here*
more than most part-timers or some full time jobs are paying! haha!

alot of my friends have been telling me since i've been getting busier, and more busier.
"Don't you get tired? you need more sleep! take care k? "
thank u wonderful people!

but i love being busy and gawd,

if you wanna pray, you PRAY! dont go broadcasting it!

I really don't think by
flooding Twitter and Facebook
with your prayers is really gonna help Japan right now.

Updating your status, or tweeting
what you prayed for Japan
every few minutes or hours,
seriously, it's not helping!

I'm not saying you're not allowed to pray
or update your social network pages,
but i think it makes you look really insincere.

You wanna pray for them?
Good, God bless you hunny.
But keep it to yourself please!

If you have sooooo much time to keep updating,
why not try to collect donations to aid their relief work?
or even better, VOLUNTEER!

so if the earthquakes
in Christchurch and Japan did not happen,
you don't publish your prayers?
how odd. i'm confused.

and then,
there are the insensitive bastards/bitches
who i believe are the products of insufficient moral guidance
in their younger years and are incapable of
sympathy/proper conduct in sensitive situations.

i LOVE jokes.
but the jokes about Japan and it's current crisis?!

"what's the number one hated game in Japan?"
"Quake."

"my Japanese girlfriend just broke up with me,
but I'm not worried... there are plenty more in the sea"

please la, have a heart and help out!
if you cant help, shut up.

watch this video on Racism and a really nasty comment
on the tsunami in Japan by this UCLA girl.

and it gets worse as our local newspaper prints a comic
showing Ultraman running away from a wave.

watch this video and see how buildings
and big tankers gets washed away by the powerful waves.

so you wanna do good in your life?
here's where you can help Japan if you're in Malaysia.
at the end of the day,
lets just all pray sincerely
and genuinely hope
that the Japanese will get thru this.
with of course the aid received from every other country. :)

i just really wish we'd
not use Nuclear power plants.
i trust the Japanese to come up with
another idea/innovation/invention to
produce more power.
they always do :)
